Zekt Analytics
Zekt Analytics is an add-on that archives your events so you can look at them later and replay them, and gives you insights into your event flows. Find it under sidebar → Analytics, available with every persona. Its tabs are Repos, Insights, Time Travel, Webhook Replay and Audit Trail. An Export tab is marked Coming soon and isn’t available yet.
Turn it on
Section titled “Turn it on”Go to Analytics → Repos and turn on the toggle for each repository you want covered. On a Chainlink repository, one toggle covers both sides.
An event is archived when either the provider’s or the consumer’s repository has Analytics on. The archive keeps the original event, the provider’s Zekt Action payload, and the payload that was dispatched.
Time Travel
Section titled “Time Travel”Analytics → Time Travel lets you browse archived events and replay them.
- Filter by time (last 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days), status (archived or replayed), source repository and destination repository.
- Open an event to see its full payload.
- Preview the replay, then replay it.
- Each archived event can be replayed once. A second attempt gives Already replayed.
- The replay carries
zekt.isReplayandzekt.replayId, and gets a new correlation ID. See the event payload reference.
Webhook Replay (providers)
Section titled “Webhook Replay (providers)”Analytics → Webhook Replay has three sub-tabs: Single Replay, Bulk Replay and Replay History.
- The source repository must have Analytics on.
- A replay goes to the delivery’s own consumer repository by default. You can choose another target, but only a consumer repository with an active subscription to the same service and Analytics on.
- Replaying into a repository whose subscription has ended is refused.
- Up to 10 replays per original delivery, and up to 100 deliveries per bulk replay. Time Travel replays don’t count toward the 10: they have their own once-per-event rule.
A consumer replaying an event it received can only replay it into its own repository.
Insights
Section titled “Insights”Analytics → Insights points out failed events, stale subscriptions, growth trends, cost trajectory and inactive repositories.
Retention
Section titled “Retention”| Data | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Time Travel archive payloads | 30 days |
| Replay history | 90 days |
| Insights | 90 days |
An event whose payload is larger than 512 KB is archived with a placeholder instead of the payload. The event itself is delivered normally, but its archived copy can’t be viewed or replayed with the original payload.
A monthly fee per Analytics-enabled repository (a Chainlink repository counts once), plus usage: archive writes and reads, Time Travel queries, and replayed events. Who pays for a replay:
- the provider pays for replays it starts;
- a consumer pays for its own replay, and only if it succeeds;
- a target repository the provider chose pays nothing.
