Webhook health

When you enable a provider repository, Zekt adds a webhook to it so it can see workflow runs. Zekt creates, secures and removes these webhooks for you. You never handle the webhook secret.

Go to Health → Webhook Health. It’s available with the Provider or Both persona, and lists the webhooks on your active provider repositories.

Ping a webhook

Choose Ping Webhook. GitHub sends a test event, and the result is shown. Use it after changes on GitHub, or when events stop arriving.

Rotate the secret

Choose Cycle Secret. Zekt creates a new webhook secret and updates GitHub.

• Zekt also rotates every secret automatically every 30 days.
• The tab shows the last rotation, how many rotations there have been, and when the next one is due.
• During a rotation the old and new secrets briefly overlap.

Rotations, including automatic ones and failures, are recorded in the audit log.
